RebelutionKY09collage-2

The Rebelution conference tour kicked off last month in Louisville, KY with 1300 young people and parents in attendance. This event is a special favorite of mine, so I was thrilled to be there as a photographer. I had a blast capturing the happenings, meeting people, and seeing the team at work behind the scenes. It was a wonderful and heart-moving day. Lives were changed and God was glorified!

Hey, thanks for your comment and link to the picture! You’ve taken some really good ones. I was actually watching you take pictures the whole time because I’m into photography and the girl with the camera caught my eye. I wanted to meet you but I didn’t want to interrupt serious photography work. Now I wish I had interrupted, you’re a really neat person!

Katie – thank you for the kind words. Aw, I would’ve been happy to meet you! =) I don’t know about the whole “serious photography” thing, I’m still pretty new to it myself. =P But your consideration is really sweet. =) If there’s a next time, you have my full permission to interrupt! ;)

The pictures were wonderful!!!! Makes me want to go to one of the conferences sometime soon– I don’t think we’re going to [be able to go to] the one in Birmingham.
By the way, my sis would love to know what kind of camera you have! :-) We’ve seen so many people with SLR’s lately, usually wishing we had one…ah, well, our Canon SX110 will have to do!! :-)

Thanks Sarah! Sorry you can’t make the conference this year. :( I use my brother’s Canon 40D…it’s an amazing camera. Very hefty though…he’s suggested the Rebel if I want to get one of my own, since it’s smaller to tote around and still quite good. Hope you’re able to get something you’re happy with. :)

I, er, well, we just got the SX110, that’s the trouble. :-| So, it will be a very long time before we get anything else, I’m sure. BUT, someone said on some forum or something that they took all the wedding photos for someone with the SX110 and they turned out great and everybody thought they used a bigger camera. So I guess it’s not that bad! :-)
