Some of you know that my brother and I have been living with our grandma in PA this spring/summer helping her out. She had been doing good after her cancer surgery in March, and was on her way to becoming her normal self again. However, Thursday morning she fell and hit her head. Long story short, it resulted in a blood clot that irrepreably damaged her brain before anything could be done. She is presently in a deep coma, and not expected to live much longer.
This has been a huge shock for all of us. Please pray for strength, peace, and comfort as we face what lies ahead in these next days. Especially for my dad – this is very very rough for him. We hadn't expected to have to let her go this soon. It is one of the hardest things in the world and I'd rather be doing anything else. Yet we trust God's will and timing…His ways are above ours. I know Grandma is ready and waiting to see the Lord, and that heaven holds SO much more than this old place.
Thank you so much.

In our Father’s house above, there’s a mansion bright and fair, and the ones we love in this old place are waiting for us there!
Oh Hannah, words could never express how much my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. I’m sending you many hugs and lots of love. And know that you are constantly in every conscious thought. My prayers are centered on you and yours! I love you!
My prayers are ascending to the throne on you and your family’s behalf, Hannah. What a difficult time, something like that is sooo unexpected. May Jesus Christ guard your hearts and minds in His precious name, and give you the peace that passes all understanding.
Love, hugs and prayers!
I’m praying for you and your family, right now, too Hannah!!!
May Christ’s blessed presence surround you, and give you His compassion, love, joy, and peace!
I know you must really be hurting now, and I want you to know that Jesus really can feel your pain— just give it all to Him!
Love and prayers!!!
Dear Hannah,
So sorry to hear about your gramma. I know how hard it is to loose a close loved one like that and the great pain/sorrow that comes with the loss. Just want to say that with love there is always pain but someday God will wipe away all tears from our eyes. Praise God! Right after my mom passed away, the Lord showed me to fully surrender to Him, realizing that there was nothing I could do but just to trust in Him. It gave me great peace in a time of much turmoil. “All to Jesus, I surrender”… May God’s peace come upon you all as you surrender and trust in Him. He will see you through!
With our love and blessings,
Mike and Jayne
I just heard about your Grandma, and I want you to know that your family is in my prayers. I lost my grandpa very unexpectedly while he was on vacation, so I completely understand. At least you are close by. God is faithful.
Your music is so beautiful! How true. His eye is on the sparrow… How much more is He watching over you, your family and your Grandma? How great is His love. Praying for you right now!
I will be praying for you and you for family.
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7
Oops!
I meant I will be praying for you and for your family. :)
Hannah,
May the Lord give you peace and hope..I’ll be praying for you, as will Megan and Kate..
*many hugs*
